OPC Server Remote Configuration Client

The OPC Server Remote Configuration Client from Software Toolbox is an application for a laptop, workstation, or other computer that remotely and securely manages the configuration of supported OPC servers: TOP Server 6.12.x or higher, KEPServerEX 6.12.x or higher, and Kepware Edge 1.0.x or higher. It helps teams meet cybersecurity requirements by limiting direct access to the OPC server host and recording who made changes and when.

• Create, update, and delete channels, devices, tag groups, and tags
• Change plug-in settings (EFM, Scheduler, DataLogger, Alias List) and client interface settings such as OPC and SuiteLink
• All actions are limited to the rights assigned in the OPC server’s User Manager
• Connects through the server’s RESTful Configuration API over HTTP or HTTPS (SSL/TLS), with nothing to install on the server and no internet access required
• Optional audit trail to SQL Server or SQL Express with timestamps, users, and before and after values for every change
• Address book of saved connections, event log viewing and export, and admin-locked UI settings
