Why comment?
Not only do you get to preview OPC UA specifications and joint companion specifications over a 90 day period before final release, you also have the opportunity to help improve OPC standardization.
How comment?
To provide comments please use the email address UAcomments@opcfoundation.org and enter the name of the specification in the Subject.
In the text please
- State the title of the document you are commenting on.
- For each comment:
- Specify the location (e.g. section number, table number, line number)
- Describe the issue (e.g. typo, inconsistency …). A clear description will assure that the issue is properly addressed.
- Provide a proposed fix (optional)
You can also use the proper commenting feature to add your comments to the PDF or DOCX files. Zip up your commented files and email them to UAComments@opcfoundation.org
Your comments will be reviewed by the working group that developed the specification.
