Claudius Link – SAP SE
Claudius Link is the Senior Vice President Engineering Manufacturing and Industrial IoT at SAP SE. In this role, he is responsible for the Digital Manufacturing and industrial IoT product portfolio of SAP serving the discrete and process industries.
During his 29-year career at SAP, Claudius has held various executive roles in Research & Development, Sales and Service as well as managing global teams. He started his career as software engineer for Logistics. After successfully leading global engineering teams for SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization, he gained international experience in the USA. In 2016 he took over the responsibility for the LoB for Digital Manufacturing which was later extended to cover all SAP Manufacturing and IoT products.
Claudius has extensive expertise of the IT industry, technology and supply chain and is passionate about driving innovations and developing business applications for mission critical operations. His detailed understanding of supply chain management and manufacturing processes combined with his technical and international customer experience are shaping the digital manufacturing journey for SAP and SAP’s customers.
Claudius holds a diploma of computer science with a focus on business administration and production management of the University of Mannheim, Germany.
