These Profiles are part of The Open Group O PAS™ Standard, Version 2.1, Part 4. This Part defines the O-PAS Connectivity Framework (OCF). The purpose of the OCF is to allow interoperability between instances of O-PAS Distributed Control Nodes (DCNs). It defines the mechanisms for handling the information flows between instances of O-PAS DCNs utilizing a standard OPC Unified Architecture (OPC UA) communication model (interface). Suppliers wishing to attain O-PAS certification for the Profiles listed in the Profile Groups will need to use the OPC CCT and to attend an OPC approved test lab for OPC verification. Once OPC verification is completed by the OPC Foundation, the Supplier must contact the O-PAS Certification Authority and submit for The Open Group certification.
