Hi everyone
I have a general question on how to do calling methods in OPC UA.
Our device in lab supports methods, so we need to be able to call them and from what I understand we could do that if we build our own OPC client.
After, is it possible to send data to PI vision after getting them in client and is it much additional work required. PI also supports OPC UA, but can this client be done?
Any docs, support or suggestion is helpful!

I suspect PI only supports subscribing to variables.
So data returned by methods cannot be captured with PI unless the server also makes this data available via variables.
OTOH, if your client is also a UA server it could make the data available to PI as needed.

HI Randy, thanks for the answer.
So potentially we could develop UA server & client and then be able to feed data into PI.
Do you know about kepware, is it possibe to data returned by methods capture with kepware any way?
